My first blog
I am curious to know what everyone in the class' background is in terms of how internet marketing relates to everyone--so feel free to post ;).
I personally have had no formal training in marketing or internet marketing but have always had an interest and have, almost since the start of the internet, been involved in some way with the creation or development of a website on an informal level.
Today, I work in the e-operations department at a biotech company in Cambridge, MA. I am the web content lead in my group meaning I am responsible for the maintenance of our websites, our domain names and am becoming increasingly responsible for search engine optimization and other online marketing projects. I am really excited about my job and what I can learn in this class.
